The Grand Turk team is coached by Ed Smith.

The trip is an opportunity for many of the boys to visit the nation’s capital for the first time and compete against their peers from that island. The boys are very excited about the trip and looking forward to the competition.

Of the inter-island footie play, Chris Bryan, President of the TCIFA said: “Good coaching and playing competitive games are the foundations of football development in the islands and this weekend gives the kids, especially in the Grand Turk Football Academy, a chance to play some competitive matches against their peers from the Provo Academy. I would like to thank the coaches and the parents of the children involved for getting this all organized and also Inter Caribbean Airways for their support.”
